Meet Chad Chance
Chad Chance is the founder of CSC Auction Group and a Texas-licensed auctioneer and real estate professional with decades of hands-on experience across nonprofit fundraising, real estate auctions, consignment sales, and rural land transactions. His work is defined by preparation, professionalism, and a deep respect for the people and purposes behind every auction.
Charity Experience
Chad’s approach is shaped by lived experience. After the loss of his daughter, he founded and operated his own nonprofit, working directly with donors, volunteers, and families to build meaningful fundraising events from the ground up. He understands firsthand what it means when a single night carries the weight of an entire mission—and that perspective informs how he approaches every charity auction he leads. With confidence, empathy, and clarity, Chad helps nonprofits raise more while creating an experience donors are proud to support.
Real Estate Experience
In addition to his work with charitable organizations, Chad brings extensive experience in real estate and land-focused transactions. A Texas-licensed real estate agent and Texas State Champion Auctioneer, he specializes in real estate auctions, agricultural properties, ranch land, and rural investments throughout North Texas. His background in auction strategy, pricing, and buyer psychology allows him to position properties for maximum value and guide clients through clear, decisive deals.
Chad has Real-World Understanding
What truly sets Chad apart is his real-world understanding of the land. For over forty years, he has worked as a certified journeyman farrier and operated a horse ranch in North Texas. He knows ranch property from the inside out—soil, water, fencing, access, livestock needs, and the practical realities of rural ownership. That firsthand experience enables him to advise buyers and sellers with honesty and foresight that cannot be learned in a classroom.
Education
Chad holds a Master of Science from Texas Tech University and completed professional training at the Western College of Auctioneering and the Professional Ringman Institute. His work blends structure, strategy, and execution with straight talk and a strong work ethic.
Philanthropy
Community service remains central to Chad’s life and work. Alongside his wife, Susan, he co-founded Friends of Vail, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to childhood literacy and education. Together, they have helped raise more than $1.3 million for scholarships and educational programs—reflecting the same stewardship and integrity Chad brings to every client relationship.
Chad’s Commitment
At CSC Auction Group, Chad serves nonprofits, property owners, and sellers who value experience that extends beyond the transaction. Whether leading a charity auction, selling real estate, or managing a consignment sale, his commitment is simple: protect his clients’ interests, honor their goals, and deliver results built for the long term.
